Christophoros Christodoulou

I was born in Nicosia, Cyprus, in 1992. I finished High school with an overall of 18 & 5/13 out of 20. After finishing school I did my national service where I served for two years as a sergeant. During my army years, I was assistant at the Artakama, art school. I was assisting new students into developing the essential skills needed to be accepted at schools of fine arts in Greece. I am currently studying at Athens School of Fine Arts and I am attending Practical Modules (Painting, Sculpture and Engraving) as well as Theoretical Modules like History of Art and History of Architecture. From 2012 until 2014 I apprenticed at the workshop of the well known painter Anastasios Christakis. I am now in the fourth year of studies and will graduate in 2017. I received a scholarship from I.K.Y (State Scholarships Foundation) and I spent a year (2014-2015) at the University of Barcelona, Spain, (School of Fine Arts). During my scholarship year in Barcelona I participated for two months as a volunteer to an organisation where I was interacting and assisting young and old people with disabilities. This year I was participating in Milano young artists Biennale, Mediterranea 17, where I was representing my country. I also attended other group exhibitions and and this summer I was participating in a workshop with other fifteen artists and fifteen architects.
